The natural beauty of Pennsylvania and the cool fresh water have people coming here. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. There's camping available near Montour Run. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater     rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Montour Run doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Enlow to Groveton section is the only one. The Enlow to Groveton stretch of Montour Run in Pennsylvania is 11 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your camping stuff.
