The Confluence with Broad Run to mouth stretch of Nesquehoning Creek in Carbon County is 5.6 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. No need to look hard for hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because
these hotels fill up quick. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. There are no other stretches to paddle along Nesquehoning
Creek than the Confluence with Broad Run to mouth stretch.
