Pennsylvania whitewater - Octoraro Creek, Chester County
Chester
county,
Octoraro Lake to New Bridge Rd Maryland section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS I 15 miles
Not at all deep, wide and shallow, nice parking but if you get to the very end where Octoraro Creek meets the Susquehanna it can get pretty nasty. Good place to train beginers but if they go out too far you may never see them again. Somedays the current at the mouth gets to be too much unless you have a rider picking you up downstream a couple miles. Says Chesapeake
