The scenic beauty of Tioga County and the water flowing gracefully down Pine Creek beats anything. The Ansonia to Blackwell stretch is the only paddling stretch along Pine Creek. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an     afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Ansonia to Blackwell section of Pine Creek is 6 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The average Pennsylvania whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. Briefly about the general area: On a glorious day at Pine Creek you can take a hike along the Dillon Trail; there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Pine Trail.
