The SR 2009 to Route 209 stretch of Raymondskill Creek in Pike County is 1 miles long and is a class V+ section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you     might end up sleeping in your car. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers.
