The Yukon to Youghiogheny stretch of Sewickley Creek in Pennsylvania is 12 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III section. The nature scenery of Westmoreland County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often more forgiving than in other states, so you'd better keep     in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are no other sections to paddle along Sewickley Creek than the Yukon to Youghiogheny section. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here.
