The wonderful Pennsylvania scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Stonycreek River have people coming here. If you're coming from Somerset it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Hollsopple to Foustwell section is one of them. There are campgrounds quite near the river where     you can camp. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more.
