This stretch of Tioga River in Pennsylvania is 23.5 miles long and has been rated as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often more forgiving than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. | rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag.

While staying at Tioga River you could always discover Copp Hollow, and don't leave Tioga River without first going for a hike along the Fisher Trail. the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Tioga River dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
Go for a hike on the Pig Hill Trail. From a precipitation point of view Tioga River is a relatively typical site; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
