This section of Tohickon Creek in Bucks County is 3.8 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The wonderful Pennsylvania scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. If you're coming from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance
then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Pennsylvania is often easier than elsewhere, so
if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Ralph Stover State Park to Point Pleasant section is one of them.
