The wonderful Pennsylvania scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Tohickon Creek make the trip here worthwhile. This stretch of Tohickon Creek in Pennsylvania is 3.8 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that rivers here are less demanding. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Some people prefer whitewater
rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. The put-in location is a short drive from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, as you can see on the road map further down. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance
then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near.
