No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. Briefly about the general area: Town Creek gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
