Briefly about the general area: The high level of rainfall makes Tunkhannock Creek a relatively wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Tunkhannock Creek; all through
summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Tunkhannock Creek overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
