Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Briefly about the general area: Lots of people from Lewisburg come to White Deer Creek; going for a hike on the Lyman Gap Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Summer at White Deer Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings   highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at White Deer Creek temperatures plunge to the 10's. From a precipitation point of view White Deer Creek is a relatively typical location; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
