The Listonburg to Casselman River section of Whites Creek in Pennsylvania is 5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. The wonderful Pennsylvania scenery and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whites Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Listonburg to Casselman River stretch is the only one. And of course, there are     campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often more forgiving than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came.
