The wonderful Somerset County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. There's camping available near Wills Creek. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. If you've been whitewater rafting     and kayaking outside Pennsylvania you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. The starting point is not too far from Cumberland, as you can see on the road map further down. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Glencoe to Ellerslie section is one of them.
