The Glencoe to Ellerslie section of Wills Creek is 18.7 miles long and is a class II-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Pennsylvania are often more forgiving than in other states, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is     a very popular destination. If you're coming from Cumberland it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag.
