The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Lock Haven, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Young Womans Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the LR18020 to Pennsylvania Route 120 stretch is the only one. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then     no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The beautiful scenery of Pennsylvania and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so don't forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere.
