This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. The scenic beauty of Las Marias County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Guabo River doesn't have a lot     of paddling stretches, the Rt. 124 to Anasco river confluence stretch is the only one. Briefly about the general area: If you're here, you might as well stop at Quebrada Fria; going for a hike along the Vereda Descanso will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Summertime highs at Guabo River commonly tend to be in the 90's; the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 80's; winter nights come with lows in the 60's to Guabo River.
