There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are no other stretches to paddle along Rio de la Plata than the Dam Section stretch. The Dam Section section of Rio de la Plata is 5 miles long and has been rated as a class III-V(V+) section by American Whitewater. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance
    to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people.

Briefly about the general area:
Rio de la Plata sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're
here at Rio de la Plata you can take a hike along the El Rada Trail.
For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Rio de la Plata reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 80's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Rio de la Plata dip into the 60's.
