Rhode Island whitewater - Matunuck Shore Break, Washington County
Washington
county,
Beach at High Tide section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
The put-in is not too far from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, as you can see on the road map further down. The natural beauty of Rhode Island and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
