The campgrounds here at Chattooga River are pretty good. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is an added bonus.

Chattooga River
 
usually gets a lot of precipitation; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; October on the other hand is the driest. All through the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Chattooga River. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Chattooga River.
Woodall Shoals is a great place to look at.
