willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. Briefly about the general area: Chauga River ordinarily gets a great deal of
rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Chauga River get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Chauga River tend to be in the 20's. The Chattooga Trail offers hiking at its best.
