Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in South Carolina tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The starting point is not too far from Brevard, as you can see on the road map further down. And of course,     there are campgrounds nearby. The Mill Creek to Dug Mountain Access stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places.
