The Nettles Park to US 76 stretch of Eighteenmile     Creek in South Carolina is 2 miles long and is a class I(II) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The Nettles Park to US 76 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Eighteenmile Creek. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. The campgrounds here at Eighteenmile Creek are pretty good. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks. No need to look hard for hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Briefly about the general area: Eighteenmile Creek is a quite wet place commonly with lots of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest. If you   want to hit the beach, East Beach is close by. High temperatures at Eighteenmile Creek through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Eighteenmile Creek temperatures plunge to the 20's.
