The average South Carolina whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The scenic beauty of South Carolina and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from     the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The campgrounds here at Little Eastatoe River are pretty good. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Dirt road off Highway 11 to Highway 11 bridge stretch is just one of many. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Brevard, as you can see on the road map further down. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of places for that. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here.
