The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Seneca, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The nature scenery of Oconee County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Highway 11 to Little River section is the only paddling section along Oconee Creek. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here     in South Carolina are often more forgiving than in other states, so don't forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. This is a very short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. There's camping available near Oconee Creek.
