If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. This is a short paddling stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The wild scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains is great. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. Oilcamp creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Oilcamp Road stretch is the only one.
