The wonderful pickens County scenery and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This is the only paddling stretch along Todd Creek. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Brookbend Road to Lake Hartwell stretch of     Todd Creek in South Carolina is 1 miles long and it is classified as a class IV+ section by American Whitewater.
