| worthwhile. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
Briefly about the general area: During the summertime months at Battle Creek highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Battle Creek plunge into the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Battle Creek a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is April.
