If you're coming from Sioux Falls it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This section is very short so better bring some good walking shoes. Big Sioux River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Sioux Falls Park section is the only one. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make     you glad you came. The wonderful Minnehaha County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Big Sioux River are reasons enough to come here and paddle.
