Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bald River. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Bald River dipping down into
the 20's through winter nights. Bald River is a rather wet place usually with a great deal of precipitation; through March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Skull Gap is a pleasant place to go to close by; don't
leave Bald River without first paying a visit to Bald River Falls. This river has it all. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Don't leave Bald River without first going for a hike along the Henderson Mountain Trail, and there's nice hiking along the Bald River Trail.
