The scenic beauty of Tennessee and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This stretch of Bee Creek in Tennessee is 8 miles long and it is classified as a class III-V section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Tennessee is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive
a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Crossville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. There are no other stretches to paddle along
Bee Creek than the Bee Creek to Caney Fork stretch. The wild scenery of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is great. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip.
