The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. If you're coming from Crossville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. There are no other sections to paddle along Bee Creek than the Bee Creek to Caney Fork section. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The scenic beauty of White/ Cumberland/ Van Buren County and the
sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve
in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The beautiful Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Creek is a rather wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; throughout March this area sees the most rain; October is when it's the driest. If you're here at Bee Creek, checking out Copper Cliff is a must.
