The TN 6294 to Roaring River section of Blackburn Fork is 19.9 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camp
stove too. The wonderful Tennessee scenery and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. This is the only paddling stretch along Blackburn Fork. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep
in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
