Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Tennessee are harder than the national norm, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The put-in is not too far from Chattanooga, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is a very short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Getting your paddling muscles
activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. No shortage of good hotels, but if you don’t have reservations you might end
up sleeping in your car. The Seventh Day Adventist Compound to Roaring Creek section is the only paddling section along Brush Creek. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. The scenic beauty of Tennessee and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile.
