The Murphy Bridge to Topsy Bridge stretch of Buffalo River in Lewis and Wayne County is 25 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I(II) section. This is the only paddling section along Buffalo River. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.     The nature scenery of Tennessee and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff. The campgrounds here at Buffalo River are pretty good.
