CLASS I-III 27.1 miles
Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The scenic beauty of Tennessee and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Bee Creek to Collins River section of Caney Fork in White/Van Buren/Warren County is 27.1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-III section. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is wonderful. Whether you're
whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is one of a small
number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The starting location is a reasonable drive from McMinnville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
