This section of Clear Creek in Tennessee is 21 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother     nature will make you glad you came. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Briefly about the general area: Clear Creek is a quite wet place frequently with a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest of the months is October.   At Clear Creek during the months of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Clear Creek are in the 20's. Big Hollow is close to Clear Creek and is a splendid site.
