If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. The campgrounds here at Clear Creek are pretty good. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in     this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. The Barnett Bridge to Jett Bridge section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. The put-in is not too far from Harriman. The beauty of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great plus for this river. The scenic beauty of Morgan County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far.
