This stretch of Clear Fork - North Prong in Fentress County is -blank- miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. If you're coming from Crossville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Clear Fork - North Prong have people coming here. The wild scenery of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is great. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. There are campgrounds quite near
the river where you can camp. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Old Sunbright to Banner Springs section is just one of many. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy.
