The Leatherwood Ford to Blue Heron Kentucky stretch of Cumberland River - Big South Fork is 19 miles long and has been rated as a class II+(IV) section by American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come.
