Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Tennessee is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving.     will make you glad you came. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camp stove too. There
are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Sutton Dam to Antioch Bridge stretch is one of them. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The wonderful Cumberland County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here.
