| way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. The nature scenery of Cumberland County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. If you're coming from Crossville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. When you're paddling down a Cumberland Plateau Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.

through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Daddy's Creek are in the 20's.
