If you're coming from Crossville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location,
as you can see on the road map further down. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. The beautiful Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is an added bonus. There are many good
hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. The campgrounds here at Dunlap Creek are pretty good. Dunlap Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Jolley Road to Piney River stretch is the only one.
