The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Harriman, as you can see on the road map further down. The wild scenery of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is great. There's camping available near Fall Creek. The wonderful Rhea Cumberland Roane County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle.     Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. The average Tennessee whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are no other sections to paddle along Fall Creek than the Ozone Falls to White's Creek section. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. Briefly about the general area: Fall Creek gets a lot of water; the wettest month   of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most while October is generally the driest month. Sulphur Spring is an inspiring site to take a look at while you're here, and close by you hit upon Wildcat Hollow which is a great spot to visit. Through the days of summer at Fall Creek temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Fall Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
