The wonderful Hamilton County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. The Waldens Ridge to Soddy Daisy stretch of Falling Water Creek in Hamilton County is 2.5 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V+ section by American Whitewater. The put-in is not too far from Chattanooga, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. |

Nearby Pickett Gulf is a pleasant location to go if you're at Falling Water Creek, and a short journey to Barker Spring is always worthwhile. Why not go to Buzzard Point also since you're here, and Falling
Water Falls is a picturesque site to stop by while you're at Falling Water Creek. Falling Water Creek is a wet site that gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October on the other hand is the driest.
