This stretch of Flat Creek in Overton County is 11.3 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Flat Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Highway 136 to Roaring River section is the only one. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general     area you'll find lots of paddling spots. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
