Briefly about the general area: A trip to White Rock Hollow is always fun; you'll possibly meet some folks from Newport here. All the water falling down from the sky makes   French Broad a wet place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the days of summer highs here at French Broad reach the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at French Broad throughout the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's.
