The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Sevierville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The nature scenery of Tennessee and the water flowing gracefully down Little River attract people from near and far. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There
are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Huskey Gap Branch to Elkmont C.Highway stretch is just one of many. This is a bit of a short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The beautiful Great Smoky Mountains scenery is an
added bonus. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. The campgrounds here at Little River are pretty good. The Huskey Gap Branch to Elkmont C.Highway section of Little River in Sevier County is 2.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section.
