Bridge at Elkmont to Sinks section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS II-III 7 miles
The Bridge at Elkmont to Sinks section of Little River is 7 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. The wonderful Sevier/Blount County scenery and the cool fresh water have people coming here. The put-in is not too far from Sevierville, as you can see on the road map further down. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Lodging is available
near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains is a great plus for this river. The Bridge at Elkmont to Sinks section is one of many paddling
sections in this river system. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more.

Laurel Falls Trail. Cherry Gap is in close proximity to Little River and is a glorious place, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Jakes Creek Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Little River. During the moonlight hours it's
