The average Tennessee whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The Dam at Melrose to Tennessee River stretch of Little River in Tennessee is 22 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I section.
