The put-in is not too far from Sevierville, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. hiking at its best. This is such a fun river. Throughout the warm days of summer at Little Pigeon River - West Prong temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Little Pigeon River - West Prong all through the winter usually fall into the 20's.
