Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Tennessee is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. If you're coming from Sevierville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
