The Campbell Overlook to 1st bridge in Gatlinsburg stretch is one of many paddling stretches
in this river system. This stretch is short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There are many good hotels to choose from, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here
you'll find a large number of good rivers. The beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains is a great plus for this river. The natural beauty of Sevier County and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. This stretch of Little Pigeon River - West Prong is 2.6 miles long and has been rated as a class II-V section by American Whitewater.

exception. During the summertime months at Little Pigeon River - West Prong temperatures are regularly in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Little Pigeon
River - West Prong temperatures drop to the 20's. This river is a wonderful place to visit. The high level of precipitation makes Little Pigeon River - West Prong a pretty wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least
